Happy Birthday to me.....40, really?

So today I turned 40 but I don't feel 40. What is 40 suppose to feel like? I remember as a kid that 40 seemed old but I don't feel old, maybe some of the young kids think I'm old but I'm NOT old. My mom and I are 20 years and 20 days apart so that means at my age she had a 20 year old. Many people I went to high school with have kids and some have grandkids, not me. So what does that mean?

I don't know what I should have accomplished by 40 but I know that I have accomplished a lot. I would be lying if I didn't say that I wished I was 10 years younger but does that mean I havent' enjoyed the past 10 years? No I've definitely enjoyed the past 10 years, maybe a bit too much at times. But life is good!

Just because I'm 40 doesn't mean I have to act 40, besides everyone says that 40 is the new 20. So I'm going to live life like I'm 20, well maybe 21, that way I can drink:>)

I have much to be thankful for!
