Today is the first day of August...couple big things happen in August for me:
1. Birthday - big 40 this year - thanks to triathlons I already feel 40 (Triathlons put you in the age grp for the age you will be on 12/31 - so this yr I'm in the 40-44 age grp instead of 35-39. I've been told that since I'm at the young end of that age grp I will do better. I don't think it turns out that way.
I don't really get to celebrate until after the next item.
2. IronGirl 2010 - this will be my 2nd year in the IG, which is 3 weeks from today. As always nervous and not feeling prepared. This is my next to last race of the season, the last race is in September, Make a Wish tri.
So I'm looking forward to a fun month and even more looking forward to September when we can go on vacation to Texas - yippee!!!!
