2010 Triathlon Season is over, back to weight loss goals

My 2010 Triathlon Season is over. My goal was to complete 7 events - I completed 5 of those 7 events.

I'm already looking forward to the 2011 season which I plan to complete an Olympic distance Triathlon. I'm still trying to decide which event I'm going to do, right now I'm between Columbia Tri in May and Nations Tri in September. I'll still participate in IronGirl and I might be doing Make A Wish again next year as a relay team with some friends. Hubby is planning on participating in the Celebration Sprint so I'll be on the sidelines supporting him. Of course I will also plan on doing Race for Cure and hopefully the Muddy Buddy and Autism Run.

My goal for the next 3 months is to focus on 3 things:
1. Weight loss - I have yet to get to my goal weight. It's actually pretty tough to train for triathlons and also lose weight. So my focus for the rest of 2010 is to get to that goal weight.
2. Swimming - Since I'm planning on doing an Olympic distance next year I have to get my swimming in better shape. I need to be able to do freestyle for all of the swim.
3. Strength Training - I let this drop off completely.

I've added a weightloss ticker to my blog and I'm hoping that will help me keep track and for anyone that might be interested in seeing how I'm doing.

  1. You can do it!!! I'm getting back on track too...as always...you inspire me to do better and work harder. ;)

    I love the new blog design...and the tracker too. I have been so bad about blogging but it really helps too.
